This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial included older adults receiving 250 mg/day of NMN for 12 weeks.
Blood NAD+ increased.
The primary stepping-test outcome was not significantly different between groups, while selected secondary walking and sleep outcomes were more favorable.
Human NMN Metabolic Evidence
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of randomized NMN trials generally confirm biochemical effects on NAD+-related pathways.
However, pooled clinical evidence remains inconsistent for:
